I was born in Ponta Delgada (1961), Azores and I participated in several collective exhibitions (painting), had several individual exhibitions and developed projects with public intervention.

Initially like a tool for my artistic work, now I assume the photography like my principal hobby. In this way, the presented images reflect varied aesthetic preoccupations that can be divided in two vectors: Images of illustrative character : registers for my artistic work (register of works and notes); artistic photography (like autonomous discipline).

I mainly use flickr as a backup to my work (filipe franco contemporary art )and my photoblogs: observer / lost moments ; I participate also in the onexposure project .

I live and work on the Island of São Miguel, Azores - Portugal.
